Our company, Schalkenbosch Weinvertrieb GmbH & Co. KG, is located in Reutlingen, which is 30 km south of Stuttgart and 200 km west of Munich.
With our Schalkenbosch Weinvertrieb brand, we are concentrating on wines, spirits and fine food products from South Africa only!
Schalkenbosch Weinvertrieb was founded as a consequence of a participation in Schalkenbosch Vineyards, Tulbagh, in 2011 and has developed from a strong HORECA background since 2012.
In 2013, we started with the first webshop for South African Wines www.schalkenbosch-weine.de and have the fourth shop release now in place with a switch to shopify End of 2021.
Our other international wine platform, also with a good selection of South African wines, www.starweine.com, which we acquired in 2017 and changed from shopware also to Shopify in 2022.
As of now, one can say that our focus has changed quite drastically towards the private end client in the recent 4 years.
