Hi, I am Zilla, a South African who has started a charity in Germany to support the education of disadvantaged children in South Africa.
About the charity:
Do you love South Africa and want to make a difference in lives of disadvantaged children where it really counts?
Sawabona Africa believes that only through a quality education, we can make a long lasting and meaningful difference for children and their communities. We do this through supporting high impact educational programmes in South Africa. Current projects supported:
- Sponsorship of children from Imizamo Yethu and Hangberg in Hout Bay to attend a quality school
- Raising funds to purchase a classroom for children attending an afterschool academy in Freedom Park, Soweto
- Supporting Tutors at an afterschool academy in Freedom Park, Soweto
- Partnering with companies to identify CSR projects aimed at improving lives of disadvantaged children in South Africa
We are looking for friends of South Africa to help us raise funds for our incredible projects, donations for our projects, members interested in contribute to our charity as a member, and likes and shares on our social media pages to help raise our visibility in Germany.
100% of all donations go directly to our projects, without an administration fee and all donations in Germany are eligible for a Tax deduction.
