Inspired by the love for the continent, the beautiful people and the diverse culture, “African Pride Designs” was created as a platform to showcase outstanding African Fashion to the world.
Our products are unique pieces and a reflection of the colourful cultural African Heritage.
All our products are handmade by local designers, small family-run businesses or projects employing disadvantaged people and training them skilfully and also generating an income for them.
We pay fair wages to our designers and act as environmentally conscious as possible by using off-cuts or turning waste into new products.
Besides that, we ship your order in environmentally friendly, plastic-free packaging in a climate-neutral way.
We also support various charity projects on a regular basis.
From the 22nd of June – 26th of July we are donating 10% of all the sales made in our shop to: „Baphumelele Children’s Home“ Project in Cape Town´s Township Khayelitsha. This project is a shelter for vulnerable/orphaned children, support for young adults, and respite for adults with chronic diseases and HIV/AIDS.
