Howzit, howzit! 🇿🇦

On 15th August, 50 Degrees North is celebrating its 12th anniversary (since 2014), and we’re doing it in style! 🥳

Alex (the saffa 🇿🇦) and Keanu (the other saffa 😄🇿🇦) thought it would be a great idea to bring our two communities together for a lekker day filled with good food, cold drinks, laughs, and great company. 🍖🍺🎶

Since we’re not allowed to braai at our usual spot because of the fire ban, we’ve made a new plan we’d love to share with you!

To celebrate the occasion, we’re combining the German CrossFit community with the vibrant South African gees 🇩🇪🤝🇿🇦. Our new venue gives us the perfect opportunity to enjoy the day together in a relaxed atmosphere.

This gathering is also a bittersweet one for me, as it will be my farewell before I move from Frankfurt to Berlin. ❤️ While I’m excited for this new chapter, I’ll definitely miss this amazing community we’ve built together over the years. Don’t worry though—I’ll be making every effort to come back for the annual braais and help organise them whenever I can. Once a saffa braai family, always a saffa braai family! 🇿🇦🔥

🔥 The Plan

🍖 The Braai:
We’ll have gas grills ready to go! Bring your own meat, veggies, or anything you’d like to throw on the braai (or just come hungry and enjoy the vibe!).

🍺 The Drinks:
Draft beer is on us! 🍻 If you’d like wine, spirits, or any other drinks, please bring your own.

🏓 The Action:
Enjoy pickleball, cornhole, good music 🎶, great conversations, and a bit of friendly competition between the crews!
