Bushbaby Safaris Zululand is based in St Lucia, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa and operates from both St Lucia and nearby Hluhluwe.
Offering private safaris to both nearby parks, the world-renowned Big 5 Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park and our first declared UNESCO World Heritage Site for Nature – iSimagaliso Wetland Park.
I manage this operation from Frielendorf-Verna, Hessen, Germany. Being a National Department of Tourism certified “South African Specialist” as well as a registered Nature Guide with collectively now over 27 years experience in many regions and parks across South Africa and to a lesser degree, Namibia – I offer my expertise and experience to assist anyone with up-to-date, honest and ethical advice when planning your own personal South African safari holiday. KwaZulu-Natal is, without a doubt, the most spectacular and diverse wildlife and nature region anywhere in South Africa, and there is so much all within a very small area, making a wildlife-focused tour or holiday so much easier to get around.
Self-drive or guided from OR Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg) or from King Shaka International Airport (Durban). I have many route options I can offer – I prefer to avoid the Kruger National Park area and focus on where there is so much more – after all, it isn’t about where you’ve been but more about what you’ve experienced, and Zululand has it all!
